I deem I am on the right forum, if I am not I apologize in advance, uh!

What I am requesting is a review particularly focused on how a site like that could be advertised in your opinion having... zero funds for advertising. Of course, also suggestions that may imply a mutual cooperation and mutual benefit with that purpose are welcome and I am ready to listen (no mere link exchange please).

Of course, being a big site, it may need about 5 minutes before getting an idea about how it works and how it is structured. A one minute review may only get you the wrong idea, probably.

I know that the major reported 'issue' is: why you use only block blue?
Actually, that's not the problem. We see sites like myspace (and the lesser alike, hi5 etc) providing mere social network profiles that are by nearly unanimous consensus an authentic mess, and yet they thrive.

I'd liike, of course if possible, a review by someone that doesn't focus on the detail (eg I like this color, I don't like that one :-) ) but on the contents/services. Then, what would you do to promote it?

As said, I am also ready to cooperate with whatever other webmaster with sites that need promotion, to find mutual ways of cooperation. So it's a twofold matter and this is why I was wondering if the category of this forum is appropriated (certainly it is for 50%).

ps not targeting social network audiences, I'd prefer professional/commercial or artistic audiences.

In todays internet I feel that you have to tell your visitors what you site is about from the first moment they enter.

Yours is not telling that, actually the opposite.
With 3 banner adsense ads in your face most people would tend to hit the back button I think !!!

As for advertising since you have 0 budget you should include it in your forum signatures and post it for reviews like you did now and post it to directories

Sorry for being a little bad here, but if you want a honest review I will have to say forget about advertising and create the site from scratch again.

The first impression when looking this site is "just another spam site". I am saying this because I see no content, a bad design, and more ads than content. Also a very bad thing is that I can't understand what is this site about, so the typical user will close it in less than 30 seconds (you can see your statistics to verify this)

No no I don't think you want to flame. Actually my caution is: we have a tendency to find out bad things in websites that are not popular because we host an underlying assumbtion that, if it is not popular, there must be something bad in it. That's not necesarily the case: something can be unsuccessful because it has no rreal way to have an impact with an ads campaign.

For instance, what you say would apply even better to myspace, which is truly a a mess - yet it thrives.
I think it is a misconception believing that an interface may decide the success of a website, for once the site is advertised or popular, no one cares a thing any more about the interface - or we could not explain why abhorrent designs like hi5 or the alike prosper indeed.

Not that I deem you should revise your opinion, but honestly the navigational links are all on top and in big bold text : it is difficult to be clearer LOL ahaha

you would realize immediately why I say you might revise: the 'no content' idea is clearly outplaced (here too no flaming, be sure!).

As for the 3 banners on top, yes i could change that but then what about sites like http://www.repubblica.it/ it is the most frquented news sites in IOtaly and you can barely tell the ads from the news. It has maybe 20 banners distruibuted everywhere in many different dimensions.
This is why I tend to say: the success of a website makes its success, after which nothing else matters.

Perhaps you have devoted just a two pages view to the site (the statistics you mention say exactly this LOL), and of course I don't deem one has to spend there ages, but hoesntly to judge a site at least 4 or 5 pages should be seen, say less than a min each. Fullposter probably is the website that offers more options to a subscriber, but being so new in conception I do agree 100% it is very very very diccifult to make people understand what it is about. This is truly my problem, in my maybe misconception of course... THIS is why one needs adertising :-)

Ok let's say all this doesn't say what the site is about.
What else?

Then ok, what would you suggest? A huge bold text saying: this is a site wit blogs, chatrooms, snippets, groups,profiles, shoutboxes, polls, events where you can place your profiles for free and use all the other features and advertise your business and you can have great ranks on Google (which is true)?
I mean, a text like that, 40px big... please the critics are quite fine to me, but also suggestions are appreciated.

It is amazing how a product for free that offers so many options can get only bad impressions and have quite nothing ok in some opinions - and think that Hitler sold nazism to the whole of Germany, and it wasn't better than Fullposter ahahah

The no content comment was for the home page. It is very important that a person can understand what the site is about in less than 30 seconds because this is the time that the average user spends to judge a site. This is significant and it is scientific knowledge, not my opinion.

Myspace has a bad design, but it is a huge success because when it created it had something that people wanted. The design is not that important, but when you don't have such a cool idea - or if you don't fill a need of people - you really need a good design to make the browsing through your site better.

Well when some visitor arrive to your website than google ad sense welcome him - thats the negative. If

some one pass google segment than there is less scope for you to earn money as in between there is no ads and hence you will loose the money.

No one would like to scroll down that much ... instead of that they would like to close that one and hence increasing bounce rate.

In your website there is no positive aspects. Nikolas told you in July and even after that you are not trying to make any changes. Either you are getting good revenue with that look or you are bit lazy to do some major alternatiom
