Hi fellas,

Recently I was thinking of ways to make my SU account better - in terms of authority - and ended to myStumbleFriends

This is the first site of its kind, which will actually help people to get more authority to their SU profiles by getting more friends.

I would like to have some feedback before publish the site and give it some traffic.

So, you get random friends that signed up too? I think its important to have friends with the same interests to be valuable. And is it really so hard to get friends?

I am sure it is not hard to get friends, but getting hundreds of them probably is.

Of course this site is just another experiment, so I can't say if it will really work but I think it will (otherwise I wouldn't spend my time on it) :)

hundreds of friends will also be a problem as the limit is currently 200 (or at least it was, has anything changed there?)

According to SU FAQs this limit is for mutual friends. So you can add 200 friends to your account, but you can have more people to add you as a friend. At least this is what I understand from what they write there, and hope it is correct :)

i dont have a SU account. is this allowed in their TOS? is this what they call a collaborated effort?

I don't think they will have problem with this. They don't allow to use your account for site promotion or spam. This service is not any of those :)

Thats not true, I have ~170 mutual friends and cannot add more than 30 other friends

it's the number of friends you can add, doesn't matter if they add you as well to become mutual friends. The counter is a bit messed up, my total was at 190 friends and when trying to add more it told me I couldn't since I already have 200 friends...

So that means that people can't add you as friend too?

sure they can add me as  friend, the number of fans is unlimited. :D


for me I must say I don't wanna risk SU authority with some program/service ;)

if you cant promote your site, whats the point of doing it?

Well because SU has many cool sites to check, but of course you will promote your site too :)

yeah, but not too blatantly i guess? you have to submit other sites too.

I think I will join in this one considering that I also need some stumble upon friends. Anyway i only got some problems because i could not log my username in it.
