And I have never seen a user create so many useless posts (rishisab) is such a short time (over 100 posts in three days). Making a bunch of fluff posts, resurrecting threads from a year ago, poor English, and, in general, not adding much useful information to a topic, etc. -- all just to reach the 100 post requirement for getting a signature. I wonder if it was worth it.

Good information.  It's all about getting recognised, which you can do best by writing articles or commenting on other sites, and by having your site/pages in your comment or your profile on those sites.

Find a niche which matches your site and search for other sites/articles in this niche, then become an active member of communities in that niche.

It takes work, it takes time, but in the long run your site will become more popular.

Above all - use good grammar and good spelling, and good layout too!  If I read an article that is a page long and just a single paragraph, or if it has poor grammar to the point of being unreadable, my brain switches off.
