There has been another policy update in the AdSense program, the following part has been removed from the policy
Quote
We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services. If you have elected to receive contextually-targeted Google ads, this would include all other contextually-targeted ads or links on the same page as Google ads.
This means you can now run programs like Amazon Contextual Ads, IntelliTXT and Adversal on the same pages as AdSense.

and Problogger.net also has a post on this subject.

Very interesting. I don't understand why they allow something like that (maybe the law wouldn't allow them to act like that?) but in anyway it is a good thing for us :)

yes, thats a good thing...

Not that I like to mix some other ads, but without this term you're more safe if you add the wrong ad to the adsense ad (that was a lot "ad")

But don't forget to check the other schemes you use to see if they have a similarly relaxed policy before creating your spam pages, I mean advertisment heavy keyword optimised landing pages ;)

thats great news, except for the fact that google cancelled my account for no apparent reason, and will not explain to me why.. as well as provide no human telephone number to call!

angry with google, switch to YPN. very pleased there, receive payments much faster than with Google as well..
