Anyone used Vista?

So does anyone here used Vista? How do you like them?

Personally I have played with Windows Vista before a lot of time when it was in a closed beta version (or something like that) and I didn't liked it at all.

Mostly because it requires too much resources for nothing(==interface)

Anyway I also found a cool cartoon regarding this, so I thought to share it here :

yeah the cartoon is cool (vista not because you need a new PC)

Interestingly enough, Dell agrees.  If you watched their line of pcs, now you can order Windows XP again - and aren't forced with Windows vista anymore.

Just wait - they already announced the newest version of windows is in the works... You thought 6 versions ( I think six, right?) were bad enough for windows - now they're coming out with a modular system... Microsoft Drupal for desktop, anyone? ;)

I have a machine with Vista on it - and its gathering dust... even tho it has a 22" widescreen... so I think you get what I feel about it.

I don't like Vista. I think this system is very big but doesn't function well!

Had Vista on my laptop but could never get a couple apps to run with it properly. So back to XP.

We've also been switching over to Linux at the office. We now have 60% of our office desktops on Ubuntu.

Right. I've switched to Ubuntu about 7 months ago, and never looked back. Much more stable and secure environment.

ubuntu's great. compared to vista, ubuntu is less prone to virus.

Windows Vista is not good..But you can windows Se7en is good and once you installed this one no need to install any drivers for it. :)

No, I haven't worked on vista. I like to use window XP

I too am using Vista but there is many problems associated with this os it is not at all well architect ed for Sql 

Its the worst OS ever created by Microsoft...

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium . but this slow down the system as compare to windowsxp and windows7.

Yes I am using the Windows Vista home premium  in laptop but this reduced the performance of the system but also provide the good security as compare to windows xp .

If you have vista, like it did for one of my computers, upgrade to windows 7.  Vista was worse than XP, and almost as bad a Millenium, if anyone remembers that bad OS.
