Article Submission. Because people love to read articles instead of hanging over to social sites for information. Articles could improve ranking of the keywords.

Article Submission. It is true that many are fond of reading good articles, so if your article is of them, it'll be read, when it is read, people will be curious on the anchor text within the article and visit it. That is a cause of traffic.

Directory submission is pretty much boring and also not gives the benefit till the directories are not approve. So, prefer bookmarking article submission, PR submission.
