Which one is most preferable method to use for the online marketing of a website still more effective.

SEM- Search Engine marketing .ie SEO and PPC are the best. SMO is indeed an integral part of SEO as search engines pick social signals to determine the rankings of sites too.

Every method is effective...depending on you online business model. PPC could be good for an e-commerce site but not necessary for news site or blog. Consider that.

The thing about Google is natural looks and organic traffic. You need a mix of everything to rank above the rest, the more natural a website looks and feel the better it will do.

Best method should be effective and fast - So, I would go for SMO.  But SEO is very essential too.

So, I would prefer a combination of SEO and SMO.
