Olaf and myself have set a small challenge. First, between the two of us, but then we thought of include all of you...

The challenge is to promote your blog and see who can be the first to get their blog ranked in the top 100.000 at www.technorati.com .

I would say that one of the rules here would be that your blog is not already in the top 100.000.

So far mine is at 848.635 - noooo where near the target! But I am up for the challenge!

I think we need some rules for people joing this race,

someting like only blogs with webmaster related content (think about the SEO for our blogs and websites) and the number of links from other blogs should not more then 10 unique links. Otherwise this race is over before we start running, hehe

This sounds like a nice challenge! I've not worked on my blog for way too long, this is a great incentive to start posting on it again. I'm currently ranked 1,116,257 with 2 inbound links (from another blog of mine ;D)

so how about a rule like this: after someone hits 100,000 or lower, the rest of the competition has 24 hours (or some other number) to allow technorati to update.  then whoever has the lowest wins?  the way it is now, technorati has been VERY slow to update sometimes and i think it would be more legit if there was some sort of countdown once someone has officially hit the mark.

oh, wait that wasn't you.  yeah i got it :) i would have no problem doing a review, but blogs are typically hard to review (the way i do it) unless they are manually constructed by the user. i would have to do more of a content and design review than anything else.  where i think the greatest value comes from my blog is my explanations of code and professional construction to those who have no or little clue.

I have some advice for your blog site:
I noticed that you posted also exiting articles from other sites, for a blog site its OK to write about them.

To get people reading your blog you need your own version, they must be attracted by your content, the best example is the site from FixMySite, his critique is funny, to the point and people like to read that while the item is very common (website critique).

I save the daily data in a database, while saving the data the image is generated...

I have hust updated the graph but the data from the api is not confirm to the data on the technorati website...  :(
