A new feauture just added to our community, the code library.

The code library is a place where we can share code snippets with the rest members of webdigity. Hope you will find it usefull.

Also have in mind that in every snippet you post, you get your link there (under the snippet)

If you have any feedback, comments, category suggestions, please post them here :)

your forum is getting more useful by the minute, Nik!

now where is the actual link to the code library aside from this thread?

Concur... you need a code library link somewhere!

When you are in subcategories, the main categories disappear and at first that was confussing for me and I had to hit the back button to return to the main menu. I noticed the bread crumbs at the top which of course is the answer, but maybe you can arrange the categories somehow so that the box doesn't disappear and confuse people. Something...

Looks good though! Nice place for me to dump some code!

Maybe I will add some better navigation later, but I think it is not too usefull for such a site.

I mean if you are looking for 'email related' snippets, why to go back ? :)

I am thinking of making a snippet contest later, so we can populate the code library :)

You don't have to. It will be something like 'vote for the best snippet' type of contest, so you better start posting snippets right now :)

;o) I was only kidding... as usual!

I know that, but as the rest don't, I have to answer you :)

What do you think? 50$ would be ok for the best snippet?

good idea but there must be an minimum of votes...

Sure. In other words it should be a real contest :)

I will make a voting system for the code gallery, and then I'll release the contest.

just noticed one (small) bug:

I placed a link to the support forum with bb code inside the description this code is not parsed on the listing page:
http://www.webdigity.com/index.php?action=codex

and it should be possible that the author can edit the snippet/tutorial

Check back now :)

The edit/moderate functionallity is on my todo list, but I haven't made it yet as it requires two-three hours. I will have it ready later, in the meanwhile if anyone wants to edit a snippet send me a pm.

yes it looks good now ;)

I will do some changes in the description later...

Maybe you will add some categories (later):

forms, content retrieval, Regular expressions...

Ok, the categories added.

If someone can do some english corrections in the descriptions of the categories would be great :)

I think a comment function will be useful for each snippet... (like on the other sites)
