Dedicated hosting : Which is the best?

I am looking for a good dedicated hosting provider.

Can you a give me an advice?

What companies are the best in this area?

I can't give you any advice because I had never had a dedicated account (I colocate my server for now) but as I plan to move up to a new dedicated account this time I have find these two plans :

If you want to go for quality, I suggest you pick servermatrix.com - they're probably the most reputable dedicated server company out there.
Their servers are a bit more expensive, but it's worth it...

They seem to be a good company. Do you use them or you just heared good words about them?

I finally bought a dedicated server from layeredtech, and I am very sattisfied, but I will not recommend them to anybody as their service is unmanaged, and that's why they are so cheap.

valueweb is good, i use them for onne of my clients hosting their business website. ultra fast, no space quota

I've tried many different hosts and lunarpages.com has been the best host by far.  They have been the most professional and they usually answer my emails within 1 hour.  My server is configured very nicely.

Are you using the dedicated plans of lunarpages or the shared hosting?

I think if you want to go dedicated, you should get a server direct from a data center.
It costs a bit more, but you have a bit more control over it (vs. through hosting companies).
However, if you want to save a few bucks, serverbeach is good.
