Link strategy works well with my sites.. Try to get backlinks from quality related sites and it will help your site to rank in SERP..

The key is to try your hand at a few link building strategies in different arenas: blogs, forums, article submissions, directories, bookmarking sites, etc

backlines are helpful in creating traffic. on sites like sitepoint, digitalpoint forums,etc. also there are free website submission sites that help increase traffic.

Add to that: social bookmarking, press release distribution...

The Miscellaneous Strategy and Traditional Strategy are great in the area of creativity.  Announcing contests can be extremely effective, as I have noted this through a site called 99Designs which uses contests as a way of filtering out the web/graphic designer you want to hire in reference to outsourcing.

I didn't see video search engine optimization which is growing in popularity as more users review videos for product information, tips, etc.

I think link building and social bookmarking are pretty useful SEO strategies..I have been working on this strategy my self and it really works..
