Digg is goign to removes 'Shout' features

Hi folks,

I just read this news on one of the blogs that Digg is going to remove the controversial 'shout' features. I think it would be a great step by Digg to prevent spammers from flooding the message system as many of them are hitting the front page by shouting friends in their network.

What do you think about it?

I think it is a right decision. After all 99% of the shouts you get are spam :)

I think, it is good decision made by Digg but I thinks that it should be implemented way back when the digg is launched.

Thats a very good news for me. I was waiting for it a lot.
Because it was an offensive feature for me.

digg contains my stand, I feel there are a few useful bookmarks, but is a bit slow, but in the long term, this can be considered.

it is great that they have deleted that feature...

Anything that allow the playing field to be equal, I am all for.  Too many spammers out there.
