Digital Designing or Digital arts is widely used in mainstream area and by filmmakers in producing special effects. On the other hand, Graphic design comprises of different disciplines in producing an output. This mainly involves a client who wants a specific design that a designer would assess and execute.

a lot of schools do that - and even more schools out there call the crap the teach "Graphic Design". do your research. find a school that actually makes you use a pencil, teaches color theory, ect. i feel if you are going to spend the time and effort to get a degree, go to a school that will teach you to typography by hand...

Digital Designing is somewhat coincides with the digital age of making graphics while graphic designing coincides with the non-digital form don't know if it is the right answer thou...

I like to this factor that............. digital designing and graphics designing........... digital designing is mainly used by filmmakers in order to add certain effects on any movie......... However, graphics designing is mainly used for the purpose of designing different printing products like brochures, flyers, business cards, calendars etc.............

Graphics designing is really more general when compared to digital designing. From what I know, the former refers to a lot of types of design techniques while the letter is more specific.
