Do you work on Sundays?

It is early Sunday now. I have already put in one hour on my new site. Do you work on your sites on Sunday? Or is it only relaxation?

As more and more people take their online business seriously, I think we also need to get more professional and  probably have fixed time of work. What do you think?

That's a good point :)

I used to work every day even in holidays, but now I know this can give you more toubles than benefit.

I think you must take a rest one day in the week. For me that means that in Sunday I will work one - two hours :)

Some work has to be done, even on sunday. But it is a lot less than the other days.

[Off topic]

Just noticed Olaf has referred 97 members to Webdigity. That is amazing. How did you manage to do it? Or did you buy the count from the forum shop?  :)

When I was working for a company, I worked only Monday thru Friday.  Now that I am a freelancer, I work all days, but not necessarily 8 hours each day (in fact much less).  It makes no difference if it is a Monday or a Sunday.   I work when I have time to work and I stop when I'm tired or have something better to do.  Yes, I do consider typing this as part of my work (it is partly website promotion in the sigs and the banners).

I work on my site at every available opportunity, Christmas day, new years day etc.

There just are not enough days in the year  ;)

I'm always surprised about how much time disappears both professionally and for fun in computers mind you if I had to pay the Venture Skills guys for the time they actually spent working we wouldn't be in jobs!
To many times I have been up at 3 or 4 in the morning and spotted one of the guys just finishing something.

I remember some times when it took me 3 or 4 days - including a weekend - to finish a job, and I haven't gone from office for that time....

But still I don't think this is wise. Because people need rest too. Otherwise you will have health problems which will cause to work less :)

your right, late nights are no good, particularly if you don't want to upset loved ones...

With the exception of a promised piece, I turn off everything at supper. We eat kinda late (for Americans anyway) at 7.

My start time is more slushy. I work most days of the week. We like to take adventures (get in the car and see where it takes us for the day type of thing) about once a week. We had been saving that for Saturdays, now we pick a day when the weather is predicted to be good.

Since I stopped working every waking moment on my sites, I sleep better.

Ive been working at home for 4 years now.
Disipline when it came to work time / finish time was the hardest hurdle to overcome.

You are right ventureskills, loved ones do come before work!

I now religously switch off the PC and close the office door at 5.30pm!
