Does .info, .cc, .ws types domains are spam indicators?

Yesterday, i was reading a blog post of SEOMOZ where they mentioned in one of their blog posts that .info, .cc, .ws types domains are spam indicators? i was surprised to read and had many questions regarding this. although i am still finding the answer by searching?

NO, absolutely not! Unless you are targeting specific geographic locations, Google does not discriminate between domain extensions. And I???ve seen many .info websites enjoying high Google rankings. Don???t buy this crappy rumour, please!

I agree with you. Spam basically indicated by the geographic location or country wise. Some countries IP are banned as per the spam activity of the same to access certain websites. Its not concerned with the domain extension.

Google has banned .cc domains because these domains are free and full of spam content. But .info is not spam indicator.. .info domains are cheap as compared to .com but it doesn't mean that these are spam indicators.
