I am asking because it does not sound to me as a way to make money from affiliate programs.

Articles are a good way to have some traffic, but not enough to make you money from affiliates.

I agree that it is a good thing to make a site for the product that you are affiliated, but you have to send to this site cpc traffic and traffic from your other sites (in either way you need a lot of traffic to make sales)
