I've just finished the pagerank update in the topsites directory, and I've mentioned something that it is a bit strange.
More of 90% of the sites listed keep the same pagerank value. I remember the previous one had a lot of changes.
Also something else that I think is strange is the pr of this site.
www.webdigity.com has pr 4 and the former domain (webmasterforum.thetopsites.net) which now has a permanent redirect to the new domain, has pr 5! Can someone explain this?
What about your pagerank? Did you saw any change?

I have a 0 to 4, but then on other checks it is supposed to be up to a 6. Not much change on any others yet...

It's over? All the sites I know of are the same. I think Google Toolbar just went haywire for a little while.

Google toolbar is not too accurate. I mean not accurate when a update is going on.

most of my sites went up 1 or 2 points. The best increase was for one of my new sites, jumping from 0 to 4. For all my sites the pagerank prediction was not correct...

Mine was spot on. That's funny.

What tool did you use to check your predicted PR?

I did too, but it seems to be over-predicting...

LoL. Those predictors really s**k and I think this is fair enough. There is no way to predict pagerank.
That's why I use the tarrot card maddam to predict and it is very accurate :) (I am kidding of course)

I used
www.iwebtool.com, and actually you can predict it. What it does is say that if you keep doing what you're doing (whatever it is, affiliation, directory, etc.), you will get this page rank when they next update. Many assume it is in 3 months though I think. I don't think it changes the time variable on a lot of them. I've always used
www.iwebtool.com though and it has always been precise for me.

Don't worry man. Keep up your work, and the results will follow.
It is just a matter of time :)
