Living in a poor country myself, i know how it feels like to worry about where you will get your next meal even if you've managed to eat your present one. I always make it a point to help out in any way I can whenever I met someone faced with that dilemma.

Recently, I encountered a website that also deals with this problem. I never knew it could be that easy to help someone eat his next meal. Free Rice simply gives you a word and then 4 words to choose the same or similar meaning as the given word. For every correct answer you choose, Free Rice will give 10 grains of rice to a person in need. And not only that, using the site will greatly improve your English vocabulary. You will get to learn a few new words yourself.

Nice site. Is there a way to help without playing the game?

yeah, you can print a letter and send it to your president or prime minister.

Interesting, I may check it out, but I've never been a fan of sites that claim to help and then do nothing. Call me a doubter, but I prefer to be careful.

Well I went and donated 50 grains of rice today. It's quite fun actually. Looks like I was wrong.
