I too think mybloglog.com community is good way to promote your site also there are many other ways to promote it, if your blog has really good and useful content other people will start promoting it even without your knowledge making it viral. -)

This one have PR 5 and Alexa ranking is 56587 that mean this website have some good activity and I am going to try this one as well.

I submitted to fuelmyblog last week and was accepted. I did see that I had about 200 more visitors in 4 or five days...it was pretty dead up until then, so I guess it did some good!

I'm taking an online class on blogging, and by the end of the semester I'll have my blog up too. So this is a great tip for me to keep in mind.

Wow, is everyone seeing the same results 40-50 hits a day?

I got accepted while back with my old blog, I received maybe 30-65 hits a day for maybe three weeks. From there it just shut down, never received another hit from there...

hehe, I marked their emails as spam some weeks ago...

lol. That's what I do to most of my sign-ups. I use spam@IsThatJose.com and let them spam that and just create a blacklist for my regular email.

I spent the week last week submitting our site to directories. Our old SEO guy never did this for some reason. This next week I start looking for blog directories. Any good lists for blog directories would be greatly appreciated. (Though it may already exist elsewhere on the forum. I haven't looked yet.)
