Google Forge is here...

Another big project by google is going online....

I just read here, that google released the Google code which is a project simillar to sourceforge.

What do you think of that?

My opinion is that internet does not need another site of this type (I think sf and freshmeat are fine) but for another time google is trying more to dominate the internet world...

Yes right this is just one another code directory... but it's the right idea from Google a lot of project owners will post their code because of the extra traffic...

I just added a project and I think its not clear enough how it works (maybe just another geek application)...

I think the biggest problem become that directory is not maintained by people, you may add the code and the project is online...

That may be a problem.....
