Ok fellas I just like to tell you that the pagerank update that you all have been waiting for has just started ;)
Feel free to post your thoughts. Still it is early but many datacenters are having new pagerank values.

phpground.com 0 -> 5
siteranks.net 3 -> 4

some updates are strange:
wii4.us is a pretty new site and got a PR5 while funniestvidz.com got several pageranks for internet pages and the main page is still a PR3...
I think that outbound links like a blogroll are maybe a reason for a drop (think about large(r) sites with sitewide links)

Well I give Google something if they are going inconsistent they do it well :D
timnash.me.uk had a PR of 5 which was lowered to 4 before I 301'd the domain after the ranking issues
timnash.co.uk up only a month magically has a PR of drum roll please 3! - So I join the magic 3 club with my SEO peers!
Payment Blogger went up to 4, though I think it was hit by a penalty so I doubt it will stay there.
But of all of them ventureskills.wordpress.com is the odd one its still a PR 5 on the main page but several sub pages are PR 6 and at one point last night one data centre was saying 7 for a couple which had been linked to by yahoo developer network and the BBC. venture-skills.co.uk dropped from 6 to 4 but that is not a suprise.
All in all I think its further proof if needed that PR is once more total rubbish.

The only thing I can say for sure is that Google has changed somehow the PR algorithm. And my guess is that it is not only about links now, it must have something else too or they filter wich links they will count in a very strange way.
The good thing is that they did that so wrong that people will finally understand that pagerank is not an important thing :)
