Here I am stuck in the corner of Canada. We've got a nice little niche carved out here. Victoria BC.
I've been on and off web developing for years now. All the time with PHP as the backend. I've tried to entangle myself in other languages before but I've since decided to drop those chains.
I try to be a jack of trades for web dev. From site conception through design to implementation and maintenance, It is my goal to do it all. Still there is plenty to learn. It would seem the more doors I knock down (opening them just doesn't seem to work for me), the more doors present themselves to me.
These days, my focus is really interested in the social web. It's interesting to wonder how the gadget/widget/gizmo side of things will help to evolve web applications.
