If a site or domain is new , it takes time to rank for highly searched competitive keywords. If your site is old, then I think you might be following a wrong SEO approach which needs reviewing and changes.

Re-think about your keyword selection and try article submission and forum posting to improve keyword ranking and as far as traffic is concern promote it through social media sites and blogs.

maybe u picked keywords with too high competition. If u did 4 montsh is not going to get u to the top of the google and thats for start. Secondly seo doesnt finish m8 u keep doing it until u get where u wont be and than still keep doing seo to stay there or else u will drop back down.
