Learning that adding your signature is allowed under some circumstances in forums is a great step in your learning about websites and website promotions. It took me awhile to realize that but I sure am glad I did and thank you all for helping us with that.

Your sig will become visible to guests (and search engines) after 200 posts. In the meanwhile is visible only to logged on members

Most forums have a FAQ or rules page. I don't see either in the navigation. I see two replies. One says 100 another says 200. I have gone to other forums and yes you can get a signature with less posts but is that all you are here for? I think it is a good rule to stop spam and would like to see a link for newbies like me to learn your rules. Some forums won't let you use a link at all in a reply even if it is to MSN, Google, etc. Which is ridiculous as in one I was new and trying to help someone and referred them to a link for MSN webmaster forums. I was disallowed. So I think the rules need to be tempered.

My problem is that I get a bit obsessive and I love a good challenge. Like posting enough to meet this minimum. :) But I haven't done it on this forum. Other than THIS post, I try to only post relevant content. Keeps the forums cleaner and easier to follow. I'm on board that this is a good policy to help keep the forum somewhat spam clean.

go to user CP, in most forums you will see it as user CP (CONTORLE PANAL), or setting or profile, on left side go to the option mostly, and check for add/edit signature.... in most forums they don't allow you to put signaute at starting, you will need to have some post before setting signature, it depend on forum that how many they have mentions in their forum roles, check them and go with.

The only way is to contribute active on this forum and create good quality posts, get answers for your problems and answer to others if you know of that problem. Posts created from one short sentence not representing good quality content. And of course you need 100 of these :)

There are some rules that may need to be tempered at a point. I was mentioning a good dedicated server to another and I was warned with spam in the forum and all I was trying to do was help another person. I wasn't trying to make a penny, but, just point the person in the right direction, however, whoever, owns the forum makes the rules and you have to follow them. Forums are great to learn and help those that would like help others.
