Have you been working/experimenting with Photoshop, or any other graphic art program (excluding MS Paint, c'mon)

Myself, about 3 months.

me? I don't know several years,an image editor is more a tool too me just like a text editor

Propably that's because both of us are programmers and not designers :)

I have worked with PS for several years, mostly because I had to as I make sites from scratch (and for medium/big projects I hire a pro to make this work)

But I can't say that i know much, as I have never used filters, and all this funzy stuff that photoshop has.

As I told before I use a photo-editor only as a tool, because i'm not a designer, but I build some banners:

I used these banner together with my CSS styleswitcher script on my old website. The current design of my website is done by a prof. designer.

I have been working with Photoshop for about 6 months to improve my website. I mainly use it for header and other images to make a site look cool.

yeah, i do that, but I also like competing its fun.
