I suppose when your blog is interesting by itself that will be a virus and more and more visitors will come to your web site.

Once your site is built and your content is in place, you should be looking to attract visitors and drive traffic to your site. I would recommend that you make sure that you have completed your site 100% in terms of content before you start promoting the site.

1. Promote your blog on Webmaster forums..
2. Place comment (containing your website link) on other webmasters blog.
3. Social Bookmarking - Digg, reddit and stumble.
4. Use twitter (try to add free twitter followers using twiends and traffup)
5. Promote your website on Traffup
6. Write SEO articles (with link of your blog) on article submission websites like Hubpages, Squidoo, Zimbio, Wordpress.com and Blogger
