Hey, I am starting up a flash banner and intro business to run alongside a couple of my other businesses. We felt as a company that the best way to show our abilities with flash would be to develop our entire website in flash. How can you use SEO in flash?

Google can index flash (text in a flash document) but that does not mean that you can get better or equal ranking with an HTML site.
So if you really want to play the SEO game you have to use xHTML content

I saw. But it ranked only for site name. If sites are linked from many good sources they will rank good. Time spent on link building is longer but it's possible to rank high with Flash sites.

if you compare the rankings on a flash site versus the rankings on the other site for example php site or a normal site as what the other seo called it. Even you get the top 1 ranking for the flash site you can still get lower rankings for the normal site

If you are using flash ,I think you should be really careful with the title tag and meta information . You would need to spend extra time on link building and other off page SEO.

As a Seo point of view, the website should not be in complete flash format. It should have some part of flash and it is good practice to use flash as minimum as you can.

Flash is hard to become sef as there is no text for it to be spidered, just script. meta tags has the only importance, so research keywords for the site if the site is not fully flash ??? apply text and good HTML paramaters on the page, most search engine spiders the source of page the visual page itself, so scripts really do not work well with SE

If you choose flash for your site, you should concentrate on meta tags and offpage optimization

Flash movies can be a great thing. They can help catch eyes that are otherwise bored with static looking pages, and they can help tell a story better than plain text. However the use of flash must be tempered with the ability to rank in search engines.
