I think in another post, you mentioned you are still in highschool, so I understand why you think 1-2 hours a day is probably too much. :) I can spend up to 14 hours (or longer) on the computer when I've got a job to do.

anywhere between 5 mins and 5 hours... I'm a university student, so I'm often too busy to be on the comp, but sometimes my work involves using the comp (I'm in comp science) so it really varies.

I use the computer more than I'd like to but mostly it is for work and schoolwork, which is why I'd like to use it less ;D I'd have to say anywhere from 1-6 hours a day, it really depends.

Sadly, I spend anywhere from 12-16 hours a day on my computer. I wake up, get online, get offline and go to bed. My TV and my video games sit on a tv a few feet away, so I dont have to really move to play games or anything.

I use to spend 8 hours a day just sitting at the computer ..but my Butt would hurt so much from sitting. I was actually thinking of buying one of those stand up desks so I wouldn't have to sit down so much.
Does anyone else have the same problem??!

This is because you don't sit right.
If you work a lot of time in the pc, you should sit right, and make some exercises.

Of course I'm a lot of hours at my PC because its work, hobby and business
but I'm surprised that people doing nothing else then computing and sleeping.
I think a good maximum is 12 hours a day if you don't need so much sleep. I sleep only 6 hourse a day, so I have 6 hours left for other (real) things :D

There is another tip that is very usefull for the eyes.
Every 20 minutes watch a spot that is 6 metres (20 feet) away from you, for 20 seconds.
It really helps with the eyes.

My daily computer usage varies, but is quite high. I don't have a set schedule, but I'm using my computer until early evening. I watch a few hours of TV and then check forums and email and fall into bed.
Focussing on something across the room or out a window does help the eyes; I've been doing that for years. Fortunately, I have a pretty view of our heavily treed backyard.

Ten hours or more.
My full-time job has me work on the computer at least 9 hours during the day.
When I get home, I usually spend a couple more hours on the computer too (checking and replying to e-mails, tweaking a website, surfing the web, writing C++ programs, etc.)
