Hey all,
I need help with a package. After I installed PHP Arcade 2.0.7, I installed Googlebot and Spiders Mod 2.0.3. Intead of working smoothly, it displayed its code at the top of the forums. I went and uninstalled it, but I want to fix it, cause it's such a useful package. Can anyone help me get it workiing, please?
TIA,
WhiteEagle

sounds like you uploaded the files in bin mode, re-upload in text mode and it should be ok

Just upload the zip file in your package manager from the admin panel.
It should work this way.

If im not mistaken, this is exactly what Nathan tried to do (he will be away for the next few hours so i will speak on his behalf)
all pages printed a block of code at the top in text format, and it appeared to be PHP - only after adding the search bot mod

That is very strange. Is there any feedback on that on the official SMF forum?
Every mod has its own thread in their forums.

Yes he did contact the SMF mod forums for support I believe.. but i am not clear as to what the response was; i'd assume the response was not helpful because he came to webdigity after posting there first

Did you checked if the version is compatible with the SMF version you run?

Nikolas and all:
Version 2.0.3 of this mod is compatatible with versions 1.1.x. So, yes it is compatible.
I'm checking the SMF forums next, to see if I got any replies to my post.

I am afraid it is impossible to understand what is the problem without working on it, or having some more info....
