I need help with how to make a web template design. I know HTML and CSS. I can use Dreamweaver and I have a host. I just want to find out how to make my own template. I have been searching the web for a decent guide but found none. Can someone please point me in the right direction

Why don't you start with a ready template (you can get one for free) and try to work on this one?
Design is not that simple, so you will need to buy a book instead of just using tutorials.

Yea, Nikolas is right! Start with books this save time a lot after.. but if you like something ready, then write into google "web templates". Many sites selling but you can find for free as well. For example : http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/
