IP Solution for SEO Purpose

hello honorable experts of the web dignity forum.

i am SEO and internet marketing worker. one of my client claimed me that he have 8 backlinks from 8 different domains.

but when he checked his total backlinks by?  backlinkcheckertools?  software, he see 8 backlinkcs but when count total backlink , then counted as 1,

any way i found that here main fact is the IP address, since all domains are hosted in a same server, so google count  all domain as a one backlink.

now what should i do? should i tell him to host 8 domain different server, but?  how its posible? if he had more then 100 doamins, then? if is there any exclussive

solution available pls suggest me.
