Hello, long time no post :)
I currently host two TV streaming sites, which are starting to get some good uniques per day (around 800 in total). The problem is my CTR is low; around 0.4%. This is because the main body of the website is just a video, and so users have a very hard time not finding(double negative) the content they want (ie. They only have to click play and not consider anything else on the page.)
I was wondering if I should add a loading timer for the video, and if this would increase the bounce rate?
Also I was thinking about a landing home page which then links to different episodes, and so the users have to navigate through more pages to find the episode they want (again, may increase the bounce rate).
What do you guys think, and what has worked in the past in your experience?
Thanks for the help.
