We are looking for someone with strong JavaScript and CSS layout skills
and some enthusiasm for AJAX development. You must also have some
experience with XSLT, PHP and know enough SQL to write and understand
basic queries. You will be required to show examples of your work and
intelligently explain your code. Interactive Group has been in business
for 30 years. We need someone who is looking to gain experience and
help us implement cutting-edge technologies in a relaxed, team-focused
environment. This is a full-time, onsite position but depending upon
your requirements, a part-time or Intern position might be feasible. Oh
yeah, you should have a sense of humor, accompanied with a healthy dose
of ?I?m the best web developer in the world but I don?t act like it
because there is a chance that I could be wrong sometimes.?

 

Responsibilities

 

    * Work closely with members of our e-commerce team
to maintain current websites  

       and build new sites when needed

    * Adhere to cross-browser compatibility and W3C
standards

    * Develop rich websites for a wide range of business
needs.

    * Innovate and participate in the ongoing
development of all our websites and other internal tools.

    * Stay abreast of the latest trends in web
development, and explore new technologies.



 Requirements

 

    * 5 years of JavaScript experience

    * 5 years of experience working with CSS layouts

    * 5 years Experience with DHTML, XHTML, XML and XSLT

    * 1 year of experience building advanced JavaScript
applications (ex: AJAX)

    * 1 year of experience with PHP or ASP or .Net

    * 1 year of experience writing SQL

    * Working knowledge of PhotoShop or Fireworks



 

Bonus Skills

 

    * Graphic design skills

    * Experience integrating Flash with XML

    * Experience with Content Management Systems
