Leet Link Logo Design Contest

I am completely redoing the old boring Leet Link search engine.. am taking away the search and making it into an everyday normal link directory where people can submit urls freely and they are reviewed by admins (by the way if you wish to help administrate, simply PM me)..

This contest is for a logo design for Leet Link. The winner (by my choice, and votes by others) receives 2000 forum credits and has the choice of whether or not to become an admin on Leet Link, ability to submit as many links as they want, AND get a static, never changing, lifetime, sponsored listing on the top of each page near the other google ads (when they are incorporated).

Now you may be asking, what is the design of this site, what things should I keep in mind? Well, the main thing is that there is NO design you have to follow, so just be creative. Here are things that must be included in the graphic:

1. the name, Leet Link
2. description of site, " High powered Link Directory, powered by its users" or something similair
3. the url to site, leetlink.com

This logo can be a normal square symbol, a complete logo with lettering, a 468 banner, etc. Be creative people! And i hope to see lots of submissions no matter how simple they may be :)

Do not post contests to the contests area, this is for the forum's contests, and the sponsored contests only.

As I said it is only for sponsored contests. The only person who have posted is Olaf which has sponsored two contests till now.

so then how do we get a contest sponsored, besides the fact that you simply like it and decide to sponsor it lol? i am giving away 2000 credits here people! *tear

To sponsor a contest you must give away something of real value.

That can be a money prize of at least $100 or something of equal value that can be interesting to our forum's members.

Of course this can be done only if you contact me first :)

i do like that, except i wanted (maybe i forgot to mention) some kind of logo to stand behind, a symbol of some sort

and some more colors besides black and white :) if you are the only one doing this for the next few days i will simply name you winner maybe say by this friday give time for them to submit some and you to submit new ones

of courst it looks familiair! it is the particle links directory script, have been using this one on many of my sites for quite some time now. i have not designed a layout yet.. thats why i want this graphic to start with, soi can make a design from there. trust me! this will look nothing like any other site..

Method, check the license agreement from particle soft:
# modify and/or remove any copyright notices or labels on the Software on each page (unless copyright output removal license is authorised) and in the header of each script source file

do you bought a license from them? (respect open source licenses)

yeah, i have purchased 2 of the other 5 scripts they are selling, and i plan to purchase this one.. i have already been talking with the author and he agreed i can remove copyright while i design a suitable layout..

designer I like the layout you made there, and i might incorporate it into my plans for the new Leet Link layout, i especially link the main logo at the top -- i would say for now you are winning

however, Mind nl i also like your most recent design, is there anyway to add more texture/color/effect to the main Leet Link text?
