MSN Messenger 8

Looks like M$ is doing viral marketing ala Google style. Supposedly their lates MSN messenger version 8 beta has been leaked. But you can only use it after you got an invite (remember G-mail ;)) Some of the new features in Messenger 8:

• Skins (Microsoft supported)
• Real-time Emoticons
• Built-in functionality with Windows Media Player 10
• Ability to pause/resume file transfers
• Animated Display Pictures
• Faster Contact List loading and scrolling
• Offline Voice/Message Machine
• Display Picture Ratings, New Hotmail and MSN Messenger integration
• Top 10 Music Radio
• Local top news items

But watch out! Theres also a virus arround that lives on the messenger 8 hype. Download it and instead of getting the new chat client the virus will send a link to all your contacts to download... yes: messenger 8

I dont like MSN messenger that much.  I like to use trillian and use 4 messengers with just one client.
