Multiple Ad Units - Multiple publishers

Probably this is answered somewhere else but right now I am too lazy to fnd it .. :)

We can have 3 adsense ad units on each page. Can those three belong to three different publishers?

Many major web sites (eg. digitalpoint) do this with no problem :)

Probably a little paranoid but it seems big sites usually get away with most things that a smaller site would be hanged for.
