NASA Takes Google on a Journey into Space

Just read this article, and find it interesting.

Nasa and Google signed a cooperation memorandum on a variety of areas, including large-scale data management, massively distributed computing, bio-info-nano convergence, and encouragement of the entrepreneurial space industry.

The new site that google launched is http://moon.google.com , which doesn't have much information, but in the future it will (I suppose that is the reason for this coperation with Nasa)

These thing about large-scale management, etc are too 'space' for me :)

Anyway it sounds a little bit strange that Nasa is about to cooperate with Google. I mean they supposed to be the technology leaders of the world, what they could get from google?
