Do you believe that having an old domain can help you to get better ranking for your desired keywords?
So why some of new domains can compete with old ones in some cases?

It does not matter whether it is old or not, just attraction to users probably is enough !

Care to explain more? It matters how? I saw that older established domains rank better usually, but also, when I buy a new domain it gets a lot of attention from big G in the beginning. If you exploit this you can get ranked really fast.

An old domain means trust from the search engines and, probably, some pagerank. I'd rather choose an old domain than start with a new one.

Old and new domains are not at all related to keywords..
But its is related to page rank!!!
But still a new domain can beat an old domain!!

I don't go with old domains because you don't know or have to check any bad neighborhoods they may have linked to and if so, you have to clean that up, so I go with new domains.
