WHITE HAT SEO of course!!!!! it's very much safer than black hat...
advertising as well.. we do that with our network ^_^

I really am not sure which one is the best. I am new at all of this. I guess if white hat is safer that is what I would go with.

I'm not that familiar with all these stuffs. But if my learning is concern, I'll bet for the advertising and White hat.

I think first start with part time so you can have a source of income, as online work takes years to establish, or one have to work hard if he/she wants to earn in months, there is no short ways to earn, It required time, energy and skills to reach at a certain point, without that one can not earn. So part time in the start, later when you are satisfied with your work , move to full time.
