Use of object-oriented design principles to plan and develop new applications as well as enhance existing applications with PHP and other relevant technologies
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of software lifecycle, design tools and methodologies
- Experience working through entire process of software production from documentation to design concept up through and including launch
- Experience working on large online applications
- Experience with site QA and testing including validation/functional testing, load testing, usability testing, security testing, unit and integration testing, link testing, HTML validation (browser compatibility etc.), log/report testing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a professional environment preferred
Extensive experience with the following technologies:
- PHP (OOP and Procedural)
- SQL
- MySQL
- HTML (XHTML)
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Flash, ASP.NET, XML, DHTML, AJAX, Python is a definite plus
- Experience writing and using APIs
- Strong web and/or software project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adapting to shifting priorities
- Ability to continually learn new technologies
- Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in an interactive environment
- Excellent communications, time management and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated to achieve high quality results within deadlines
