What do you mean? Are you seeking for article writers?

No, it is rather a newsletter service. Where I can post advertisements in someone else's newsletters.

Oh got it. There is no central service that connects all the newsletters, so I guess you will have to contact each newsletter owner to get prices, etc.

What is the niche that you want to advertise in?

Currently I want to promote two resources: about copywriting (blog and some services to offer) and an escorts directory. Two completely different niches, I know. I plan to launch quite a number of other different projects, therefore I would preferably find some central service/directory/company. I figured if there are numerous advertising networks there those who connect a publisher and an advertiser, there should be some similar services for ezine advertising. Google search (http://www.google.com/search?q=ezine+advertising&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B2GGGL_enUA177 Visit through proxy) lists some, but I wanted to ask about the members' personal experience with any of them.

Personally I have small experience with such services, but in general I avoid them when starting a site. Here are some reasons :

1) You can be accidentally get blacklisted as spammer (and this have a big cost in many terms)

2) Traffic is most times minimal because you can't really know if the subscribers are real or stoped using their mail addresses

3) In most cases I found cheaper places to advertise that also help with link bait.

Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks a lot, Olaf. That's the personal experience, I was looking for. I also always though it is not really worth it. But that excellent articleat marketingexperiments.com made me change my mind and I decided to research.
