Referal system added!

The referal system is ready!

From now and on you can refer your friends to our community and earn credits. As you may know the credits can be used to get cpc, cpm and text link campaigns for your sites ( soon hosting will also be added ).

How does this works?

Well you refer your friends through a 'special' url ( eg. www.webdigity.com/?ref=YourUsername ) and for every post that this new member does, you get 10% of the points that the member you refered did.
We do not get the points from this member, we just give an extra 10% to the person who refered the member (that's you :) )

Another good motivation is that the top 5 referers will have their sites (links) to the homepage of webdigity. I thought that this way we can give a reward to the people that help with the community's growth.

You can check your statistics, and get the referal code from the profile page under the affiliate tab.

And please note that we do not allow spamming. Violators will be at least banned ( = there are also legal issues about spamming )

Will we be notified somehow if someone joins through our referral?

Right now you can check that in the statistics. Maybe later I will make an addition to notify you.

In the stats you can see how many referals you have, and how many of them registered this month

I will do that when the affiliate program grow a little. Right now it would be pointless, but thanks for mention that. It is a good idea

The top referers of the forum now have link to their sites on the homepage (PR4 right now) of webdigity :)

Yeah, I though that it should be something else except points for the affiliates.

Hi nikolas, can you share to us this referral mod? I've long been looking for a good referral mod for SMF but all I saw were poorly-made referral mods.

Just went and added my referral URL to my blog. Hope it turns into something good for me.

Well this one is really nice one but few queries -

1. How long my link will stay there. Is this permanent link ?
2. You announce winner on monthly basis or what ?

look if you're one of the top five, your link is permanent (as long as you stay there)

there is no monthly winner, look this link is a "thank you" from the webdigity owner for strong forum supporters.
