creating multiple duplicate .info sites and linking it to yours. google is really really good in spotting these

Target Long tail keywords for your website and avoid content farming. Google updated its algorithm about content farming. So submit unique content for submissions.

Low quality or irrelevant back links are the matter of this case.

Yup .. file name is important!!
You should change the file name to the keyword which you will be targeting..
This doesn't makes a big difference .. but still its important...and most of newbies are not aware of it...
Hence its in the mistake section!! :)

Incorrect Internal linking structure.
Having back links from untrusted websites.
keyword stuffing with bad keyword selection.
Having huge no of backlink from same domain name.(Backlink spamming)
Creating multiple links pages as well as adding copied content onthose pages.
Lack of consistency and maintenance

Ye., you're right. In other words, keyword stuffing/spamming is the randomly repeated keywords.

Thanks for sharing this useful information related to SEO. Yes File name is much important as others. It defines your website page. File name should be short, descriptive and also important use actual name not short name. Only use 3 to 4 words with appropriate keywords in File name.

Keyword stuffing refers to on-page spamming.. where in .. there is excessive stuffing of keywords.. which are not required..
Its a black hat technique.. and trust me.. you will suffer if any search engine detects it!!

Keyword spamming is related to off-page techniques ... where you spam other websites with your keywords and links...

In both ways .. you are the only one who will suffer!!

The worst mistake you can every make is to use blackhat methods, or you get thousands of links from one spot, and in which case Google will devalue your keyword and make the word disappear.

Broken links & misspellings are common and easy mistakes. I can admit to that. In my busy world of link building at times I have overlooked such actions. I now take lots of to make sure that everything is tight.

I consider duplicate content a worse thing in SEO.

Off page results have always trump content, including Dup content, Google has not be able to diminish the value of sites with duplicate content, it is only a theory.

Heh, nice list what to not do. A lot of people thinks taht they will make a website and put into the web on free server and suddenly everybody will enter on that site. This is common mistake. Making a website is only beginning if you are serious :)

fake backlinks, unnatural backlinks, auto submission work, like we use many software for directory submission and article submission also as well as bookmarking submission this is the bad way of SEO Google considering you the spammer ...

i think in seo the very common mistake is software using and link exchange .this will harm your ranking very fastly ,make natural links not using any software do it manually...................

Very nice share. In addition to this, I personally believe that over optimization does more harm than good to your website. So, do basic SEO, and also concentrate on SMO.

I am completely agree with your points that these mistakes can hurt your ranking in search engine. The most important point and mistake is done by SEO is regarding content they use duplicate content on their websites as well as in articles which can hurt your website ranking.

 ::) Most of the webmasters are copied their website content from other websites, I think this is a big seo mistake. So always put the fresh and valuable content in your website for better rank over search engine.

Thank you for your knowledge sharing. In my point of view there are two more major common seo mistakes :

A. Hiding content inside images : Some webmasters used to display their content inside the images. Search engines will not be able to read the content inside images.

B.  Use excessive Java Script/AJAX : Search Engines can?t understand JavaScript/Ajax. So chance to getting index is less with excessive number of Java script/AJAX. Use HTML/CSS instead of Java/AJAX.
