I have believed for some time that the content is extremely important. But I never found anything from Google to support the idea that content is king SEO Starter Guide. I found out lot of site are high PR, that site have few content only.

Wow, that sounds more like a mental disability as a second cousin of the king of SEO.

So I went back and reread Google SEO Starter Guide quality content with an indirect SEO!

As a new blogger, I think there is no better way to SEO than building your site by content, as many as possible. You can get a range of loyal readers but as I know, almost blog/site get visitors from search more than any others ways.

I would say that content still is very important.
With quality content, the higher the chance of great SEO..
the sites you've checked may be of little content but
i'm pretty sure the contents themselves are very good..
updating them is also one factor

If your website provides quality services (like facebook, twitter, twiends, digg or traffup), then you will get a lot of backlinks. And, people will search for your site then for a particular phrase.

But, for other websites, unique and useful content is the key to get a lot of Search Engine traffic. And even while promoting your website through Social Media, you need attractive content or services to initiate a viral marketing campaign.

So, I personally believe that content also include the services that your website provides.

Nice discussion is being carried out here, content plays an important role in building a successful website. Therefore, content must be unique and relevant. Stuffing only keywords in content will not help much and could have adverse affect on SEO results.

The content is king is based on getting more content on your SITE.  Google and the search engines like large sites, you have a better chance to appear in the search engine results because of it, bots crawl it more frequently, and authority can come into play with large sites.  Why do you think newspaper sites are so big?

Good content is always bring good traffic. But to get good PR in you must need to build backlink

From My experience of SEO , I have get to know that the content is not the King but the quality of the content is real king. if we create something very useful and interesting definitely , it will lead to attract more visitors!!
