Software Developer - United States

We are seeking an experienced PHP software developer to support growing company working with bank clients in the financial services industry. We offer a friendly work environment, conveniently located in the Financial District in downtown Boston.

As you become accustomed with the application we expect you to take an active role in shaping the software to match our customers? expectations. • Proprietary online content management system
• Proprietary CRM component (calendar / lead tracking system)
• Customized for the financial services market
• Apache / MySQL / PHP on FreeBSD
• Object oriented
• Built on our proprietary framework

Responsibilities

• Design and implement object oriented PHP application
• Work with clients and management to develop software requirements
• Work with clients to troubleshoot software issues
• Contribute to internal software development guidelines

Required Skills

• Excellent PHP knowledge
• Object oriented software development experience
• Hand-code HTML, complex CSS and Javascript
• Advanced understanding of SQL (query optimizations, etc)
• Ability to work with an existing codebase
• Analytic skills to participate in software design strategy
• You know how software works. All you need is a reference manual to ?speak? a new programming language.
