Looking for strong PHP Developer who has database skills...

Can pay up to $110K on base or $80K+ contracting

PHP4 or PHP5 (preferably both) for at least 2 years, on at least 2 different projects
Experience creating PHP objects and classes from scratch
Use of a templating engine in PHP
Familiarity with regular expressions (in Perl or PHP syntax)
Database programming with at least one of the following (including subqueries, complex joins and indexes): MySql, Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server
Helpful: prior experience developing a PHP-based CMS, CRM, ERP or e-commerce system ROLE:
This position will be split between three areas:
- Site maintenance and enhancements through feature additions
- Internal customer service applications support
- Development of sites to support new business opportunities

It is critical that applicants be able to enjoy all three aspects of the position.  While new business development can be more exciting, often site and application support tasks are higher priority and will certainly be the primary focus in the first months of the position.

You will be joining a six person, tightly integrated engineering team split between our two offices.  Because of the company?s small size, the engineering team plays a large role in the development of the business strategies and plans.  This is a unique opportunity for a person who can jump in fast and contribute ideas as well as programming expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years PHP with PEAR

2+ years PERL CGI

MySQL, MSSQL

HTML, DHTML, JavaScript

2+ years SQL Relational Database experience

 Practical real-world web database design experience

 Linux and Microsoft environments

PLUSSES:

Java server side development -- JSP, J2EE, JMS, EJB, XML/XSL

User interface design/development

Content management system experience

Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FrontPage
