I use same internet connection with Kotsos (we are both here in Greece) and got these numbers :

Seems that my connection sucks :(

I will buy a new router these days and I will check it back

In order to work well, you should have your line clear when you run the test. No kazaa, msn or whatever

at the time of that one i had msn up and was also downloading ssomething

so i guess that was what gave me a crap reading

I like this. Here in Greece we get a 384Kbit aDSL line for about 60 euro / month (about 70 $ ) and you have that with half of the money.

Is that right?

I dunno! Lol, here in the US I get regular cable, and HBO, and stars on demand, and internet for 120$ a month so I dunno lol

We can get 4mbits down for $39 a month, however that would require me to swtich companies.

The adsl connection here in AUS are now capped at 12mb for about AUS$50 a month...

That is awesome.  Best I can get is less than 1mb unless fios is added here.  Fios will have options up to 30mb.

I used chi.speakeasy.net and my speed test was 8227kbps down and 716kbps up. I have Comcast cable.

My cable tv and my internet come packaged together. I have DVR, and all of the movie channels and I pay $90 a month. Not bad.
