Allegedly, because of antitrust law of pressure, GOOGLE executives will be announced prior to the ranking algorithm. While at the same time, GOOGLE will use the new calculation method for ranking, any one knows ?
Future ranking, will not only link, not only as PR, later will be fully integrated information and decision. So, can the more effective use of resources, improve the quality of web blog, at the same time is reduced and eliminated the low quality website.
Any one knows this information?

Google's ranking algorithms are still unrevealed, but it has been observed through testings that Google use social signals as one of its major ranking factors.

I own and moderate www(.)seojournalist(.)com and I only use SMO, no offsite seo, my site around 45 days old, I have a 230k alexa, multiple backlinks, its expanding quicker than any site I've owned.
Its a test website to see if SMO is more powerful than SEO, so far its working.

I know that after Google introduced its +1 feature, they had to revamp its search engine algorithm, leading most people to believe that SMO is going to outweigh standard SEO practice and techniques, but I am not quite sure how much of impact it is actually making. If anything, I see nothing but bots and manufactured multiple accounts ruining that feature. Any one know more details about it??
