i recently came upon this site providing free website statistics to webmasters. one of their service features is the ability to track clicks of your Google Adsense ads. i think with this tool we finally have a way to find out which of our Adsense ad is high paying. here is the details of this feature:

... so what do you think?

I'm not sure... but I would never place additional code on my page where with the adsense snippet. why?
1. to protect me against fraude
2. the risk that my adsense account will be deleted by google

I don't think that Google would ban you for this, and actually I don't think that they can detect that you are doing this.

This tool could be usefull for content sites, to see how good are your several advertisment positions, but it wont help on big sites, directories, etc.

olaf,

where did you see the popups? on their own site or they put it in your pages with their code?

This is why I got banned from Adsense, for fraudulent clicks. :( I couldn't prove myself because I didn't have a click tracker like the one you mentioned, but thanks anyways.

Adsense can ban you at any time, for any reason, and I don't think that a click tracker would really help.

BTW I've heared a lot of people comlaining that they banned without a reason. That's too bad.

before, they will ban you immediately, now they will warn you first.
