I think bother are good and not for the comparison or choose one. Both are for different purposes. Linkedin is for profile and twitter is for social media. Linkedin is very useful for getting a backlink. Twitter is useful for business info to mass.

For Internet marketing, it has to beTwitter. LinkedIn is more of a professional network. The subscribers primarily use it to expand their professional opportunities.

I don't think one is better than the other. Twitter is a different medium than Linkedin and it would be wise to you both. Both are for free and if you are in the web business Linkedin is a great place to find more customers, whereas Twitter would be better to interact with your customers.

Both are good only. Each one has some specialty. Using Twitter you can share any thing but linkedin is not like that it is only for the business professionals.

Both are good. In case of LinkedIn, you can get more and more information about individual white-collar professionals as well as career opportunities and company info. On the other hand in case of twitter, twitter's short-form limitation is ideally suited for an era of microscopic attention spans, which permits people to quickly scan for items of interest and click through for more when they want to.

both are relay good but i would start with twitter because followers actually count as a vote for your site and more votes u get the better and it is sort of equivalent to a good quality backlink.

I guess you mean, which one does Google and the other search engines give more weight to? That's difficult to say, although, I read that someone from Bing just said that if the same link pops up on both Twitter and Facebook, it's given extra weight. So that's something to consider.

Linkedin is professional network, you can answer related questions there and get some backlinks. As for twitter, it updates too fast, you should spend time or has a lot of fans. Thus, has a result.
